Following the tragedies of the George Floyd and Breona Taylor murders, the Trail Blazers knew we had to utilize our platform to amplify the voices that had not been heard. The Trail Blazers established the Racial Equity Project to support organizations advocating for racial equity and police reform. The Blazers wanted to make a strong statement to denounce police brutality.
